Police are investigating a possible pipe bomb in Pontiac.
The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad was requested to assist the Oakland County Sheriff on the 30 block of Evelyn in the city of Pontiac.

The pipe bomb was removed, according to a tweet from Michigan State Police.

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office says officials did determine the bomb was "viable." It was disarmed by the bomb squad.
Officers say the home's owner has had no problems with anyone and has not had any threats.
The investigation is ongoing.
