DETROIT (WXYZ) — A man is currently in the hospital in stable condition after he was shot and took himself to the hospital.
Detroit Police say they were called to Grand Circus Park at 12:54 Monday morning.
According to police, witnesses at the scene say the shooter was assaulted then went back to his car to grab a handgun and opened fire.
Witnesses tell 7 Action News they heard several gunshots and saw people scattered from Grand Circus Park.
Police say the shooting is still under investigation.
