ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on eastbound I-94 near I-275 Monday in Romulus.
Police say a male driver reported being shot at by another vehicle on the freeway, Several rounds struck the vehicle. Police say the suspect fled the scene and the victim was not struck.
The suspect's vehicle is described by police as a silver Pontiac Grand Prix. The suspect vehicle has a front headlight and "sparks" were seen coming from the front tire area.
The freeway was previously closed while K-9 units attempted to locate evidence or a crime scene.
