DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Grosse Pointe Woods Police Department is investigating after shots were fired in a park on Friday afternoon.
Just after 12 p.m., police responded to Ghesquire Park on a series of shots fired in the parking lot. The park is located off of Mack Ave. near the Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center.
According to police, the shots fired were in a parking lot off of Bramcaster Rd.
Police said a vehicle was observed leaving the scene, but there were no injuries reported and no victims have come forward at this time.
