DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a shooting incident with two scenes – Brace and West Warren as well as Joy and Hubbell.
Police say the victim and a companion were driving north of Brace approaching Van Buren when they encountered a large crowd in the street.
The passengers inside the victim vehicle reported hearing shots fired, the 34-year-old female occupant of the vehicle struck by gunfire, according to police.
The victim vehicle fled the scene, seeking assistance at a gas station in the area of Joy and Hubbell.
The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital.
Right now, police have no motive or suspects as they continue their investigation.
