SAGINAW, Mich. (WXYZ) — A police K9 is recovering after beings tabbed during a hostage situation in Saginaw over the weekend.
Michigan State Police say it started as a fight between two neighbors on Sunday morning.
Police say a man stabbed Deebo, the K9, in the head.
Officers later rescued a man who had been held hostage and killed the suspect.
State police say Deebo is expected to recover and return to duty.
