Police locate missing teen from South Lyon

YPSILANTI TWP., Mich. (WXYZ) — The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department says a missing teen from South Lyon who was last seen in Ypsilanti Township has been found in Oakland County.

Alayna Tiair Jackson, 14, was last seen leaving from a family member's home in the 8800 block of Jay St.

According a bulletin from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, Jackson is from South Lyon, and has ties to South Lyon, Westland and Ypsilanti Township. She was last seen wearing a black Easton hooded jacket, black leggings and black and white checkered Vans shoes.

Jackson is a biracial female, is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 125 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

No further information was provided regarding the teen's disappearance or how or where she was located.
