DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to an unarmed robbery on the city's east side.

On Dec. 4, the 86-year-old victim went to a gas station located in the 300 block of Conner to get gas for his 2018 black Lincoln MKZ. Police say he was approached by the suspect who asked the victim for a few dollars and to give him and his friend a ride.

Police say the victim had given the suspect a ride in the past.

The victim then drove to the area of Chester and Marseilles and the backseat passenger exited the vehicle. Police say the suspect then demanded all of the victim's money, and the victim gave an undisclosed amount. The suspect then ran away southbound on Marseilles.

Police say no injuries were reported.
