Chesterfield Police responded to the scene of a body found floating in a lake by a mobile home park Friday evening.

Officers received a 911 call from a kayaker on Lake Tranquility who noticed the body in the middle of the lake.

Chesterfield Township and Harrison Township Fire units recovered the body.

The police chief confirmed the body of a white man in his 60's was floating in the middle of Lake Tranquility in Fairchild Lakes Mobile Home Park. Officers believe the man was a resident of the mobile home community.

The man was heavily tattooed and had not been in the water long judging the condition of his body, police say.

Officers do not suspect foul play at this time.

No additional information has been released by police.
