DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police responded to a barricaded gunman situation on the city's west side Wednesday evening. Officers say it resulted from a domestic situation.
Officers were in the area of Dover and Vaughn.
According to police, the suspect allegedly hit his girlfriend with a pistol and placed the gun at her head. She then fled the home.
When police arrived at the home and made entry, the house was empty. No further details were immediately available.
