Precautionary Keego Harbor boil water advisory lifted

UPDATE: The precautionary boil water notice for Keego Harbor has been lifted, officials said Sunday. There is no longer a need to boil water before consumption.

The Keego Harbor Police Department and the Oakland County Water Resource Commission have issued a boil water advisory Friday morning. 

Officials say the Oakland County Water Resource Commission has been notified and are working on repairs. 

The boil water notice affects the areas depicted below.

Right now, the estimated repair time is six hours.

Police recommend residents drink bottled water and not tap water.
