SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police have resolved a barricaded gunmen at an apartment complex in Shelby Township Monday night.
Around 10 p.m., Shelby Township officers responded to the Crystal Lake Apartment complex for a report of gunshots heard in the area.
At the scene, police heard numerous gunshots coming from a second floor apartment in building B. Officers then set up a perimeter and secured the area.
Local SWAT team members and the Shelby Township TRU Team were activated, and Crisis Negotiators were able to convince the three adult male suspects to exit the apartment.
All three were safely taken into custody, and a rifle was located in the apartment, according to police.
Detectives are currently investigating this incident.
