The Oakland County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who they say drove off during a traffic stop in Lyon Township over the weekend.
Police say James Sebastianelli, 53, was driving a 2008 black Ford Fusion registered to his wife when he was pulled over for having an expired registration plate.
This happened on Napier near 10 Mile.
After stopping for the deputy, Sebastianelli reportedly drove off. The deputy was able to get him to stop a second time, but he reportedly took off again before the deputy could get to him.
The Oakland County Sheriff's Department says Sebastianelli also has an outstanding warrant for fleeing and eluding a police officer out of Lincoln Park and a warrant for failing to appear in court for obscene conduct/indecent exposure.
