PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are searching for a man they think is responsible for at least two robberies in Pontiac.

Police say the robberies were only hours apart.

The man reportedly walked into "Thrifty Florist" on Telegraph Road Monday and demanded cash, walking away with $150 from the register. The two employees working at the time believe he had a gun, police say.

Five hours later, a man with a similar description walked into a 7-Eleven store on Baldwin Avenue in Pontiac and demanded money after announcing he had a gun. He got away with $400, police say.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
