Police seek identity of suspect involved in Southfield shooting

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Southfield Police Department needs help identifying a man accused of shooting a person inside a building on Feb. 4.

Around 1:45 p.m., officers responded to the Advanced Building on Greenfield Road for a report of a shooting. The victim and other witnesses told police the suspect pulled a handgun from his pocket and shot at the victim, firing one round into the victim's body.

The suspect is described as a 5-feet 11-inches tall black man between the ages of 19-25. He was last seen wearing a black tennis shoes, black Adidas pants with a white stripe on the side of both legs and a jacket that had a camouflage design.
