On Sunday, March 27, Spotlight on the News will feature interviews with Dr. Deirdre Waterman, the Mayor of Pontiac, Michigan and Steve Spreitzer, the President & CEO of the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity & Inclusion.  We’ll talk about Pontiac’s financial comeback, terrorist attacks and Islamophobia.

Spotlight on the News, now in its 51st season, is Michigan's longest-running weekly news and public affairs television program.  It airs every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on WXYZ-TV/Channel 7 in Detroit and 2:30 p.m. on 23.1 WKAR-HD in East Lansing and 6 p.m. on 23.2 WKAR World.

You can also hear me talk about Michigan politics this Sunday, March 27, on "Small Talk with Mark S. Lee."  The broadcast is scheduled to air 8-9am EDT, on WXYT 1270 Radio.
