Pontiac man accused of kicking pregnant girlfriend in stomach

PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 22-year-old Pontiac man has been accused of kicking his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach on Jan. 19, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

The 19-year-old victim told police that her boyfriend, Kahlil Arron-Shabzz Ellison, kicked her in the stomach and she is currently six months pregnant.

Deputies responded to the 40 block of Leonard Lane and found that the victim was experiencing severe pains and her boyfriend fled the residence before their arrival.

The victim told police that she and her boyfriend were arguing and when she refused to give him her cell phone, he pulled her by her feet off the bed and onto the floor, and then stomped on her stomach.

After the victim was examined by a physician, the unborn child was pronounced deceased.

Ellison was located at a residence in the 20 block of S. Tasmania Street and was taken into custody.

He has been charged with Assault - Pregnant Individual - Intentionally Causing Miscarriages - Still Birth, a life felony. He was given a $1 million, no 10 percent.
