PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — A 44-year-old Pontiac woman is in jail after deputies say she attempted to run over a man and a woman with her car after a family argument.

The woman ended up crashing into a home.

The incident happened at 3:13 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the 200 block of Johnson. According to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, there was a verbal family argument that turned physical. That's when the suspect allegedly attempted to run over an 18-year-old female and 43-year-old male, both residents of the city of Pontiac.

While allegedly trying to hit the victims, the suspect crashed her vehicle into the home causing significant structural damage that deemed the home uninhabitable until further notice. The suspect then backed out of the home and chased the victims through the yard. The victims were not injured.

The 44-year-old suspect fled the scene in a white Toyota pickup with heavy front-end damage.

She was later located at Sanderson and Cass Avenue.

The suspect is now at the Oakland County Jail and faces charges of domestic violence and felonious assault with a motor vehicle.
