Port Huron police are investigating the deaths of a mother and daughter who were found inside a home.
A family friend discovered a decreased 53-year-old woman lying next to her 79-year-old mother Saturday afternoon in the 2800 block of Stone Street.
According to investigators, a handgun was used in what appears to be a murder-suicide.
The Port Huron Police Department is handling the investigation.
