(WXYZ) — A portion of M-15 was dedicated to honor fallen Oakland County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Overall.
Overall lost his life in the line of duty on Nov. 23, 2017.
Deputy Eric Overall Memorial Highway begins at the intersection of M-15 and I-75 and extends to the county line at the border of Oakland and Genesee County.
Christopher Berak was found guilty of first degree murder and murder for Overall's death.
Police say Overall was intentionally run over by Berak, who sped through stop sticks and hit him. Berak faces life in prison.
