Power has been restored in the Troy and Clawson area after a second outage this week.
DTE Energy crews have been working to make a permanent repair to a power outage that occurred earlier this week with residents relying, in the meanwhile, on a temporary back up system.
Some circuits in that back-up system failed at about 6:30 a.m. today, according to DTE Energy's Scott Simons leaving 1,800 customers-- once again-- without power.
As of 8:55 a.m. on Friday, DTE Energy says power has been restored.
