The Powerball prize has climbed to $247 million for Saturday's drawing, making the cash option about $147 million.
Players can purchase tickets at lottery retailers throughout the state and online here up until Saturday at 9:45 p.m. Tickets are $2 a piece.
Drawings take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m.
If a Michigan player wins Saturday's jackpot, it would be the third-largest Powerball prize won in the state.
