The warm and muggy summer conditions outside this afternoon are some of the very elements that could lead to powerful storms this evening.
Temperatures are surging into the middle to upper 80s and humidity levels are through the roof.
As a disturbance comes through this evening it could trigger storms with impressive downpours and damaging wind gusts. The strongest storms could produce gusts up to 60 mph.
We could see a spotty storm this afternoon, but the best chance of storms will be later on.
