President Obama's unexpected visit in Midtown

President Barack Obama was in town to tour the North American International Auto Show but before heading to Cobo Center, he stopped in Midtown.

"Very excited to see him come in," says David Mammel, operations manager at Jolly Pumpkin.

David says everyone at the restaurant is still excited about the unscheduled visit from the POTUS. President Obama ordered his rendition of the JP Burger which is now called "Obama Burger."

"I think I picked a good spot, particularly this seat. I feel the good vibes," says Charley Baker, who sat in the same seat as the president.

The Commander in Chief's next stop was Detroit's own Shinola. He already has a watch so he purchased two journals.

"Very humbling, very excited, happy for him to have came here," adds Mammel.
