A Detroit business got a big honor at the White House today.
President Trump invited the owner of Milton Manufacturing, along with business owners from other states, to showcase American-made products at a ceremony there.
The company, which has been family owned for decades, is a defense contractor, specializing in metal and fabric.
Shelly Green, the owner, tells Action News she does not know why the company was picked, but was honored it was.
“We are a company that uses American suppliers, American customers and labor,” she said in a phone interview from the White House today.
