(WXYZ) — President Donald Trump spoke about the newly-signed trade agreement with Canada and Mexico at an auto plant in Warren on Thursday.

The president stopped at Dana Incorporated to talk about the USMCA before heading to Iowa for a campaign rally in Des Moines. He also toured the plant.

This is the president's second visit to Michigan in about six weeks. In December, he had a re-election campaign rally and also held another rally in Toledo, near the border of Michigan, a few weeks ago.

Dana is headquartered in Maumee, Ohio. Its 800,000-square-foot plant in Warren employs more than 800 people and manufactures axle and driveline tubes, housings and assemblies for automobiles.

Mexico has already ratified the agreement. Canada must act next for it to fully enter into force.

During his visit, Trump talked about the new F-35 fighter jets that are coming to Selfridge Air National Guard Base, saying in part, "They're totally stealth, so maybe you won't see them."

He also talked about getting funding for a new lock coming to the Soo Locks, saying that they'll be "good for another hundred years."

The visit will be Trump's second to Michigan in about six weeks. He held a re-election campaign rally in Battle Creek in December.
