OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Protesters greeted the Oakland County Board of Commissioners on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade court decision that legalized abortion.
Pro-life supporters were against the board's vote to support planned parenthood.
Last month, members approved $500,000 for Title X reproductive health care services.
The decision was aimed at filling a void left by Trump administration cuts.
It's been a controversy for 47 years now – since the high court ruled in favor of a woman's right to choose back in 1973.
