DETROIT (WXYZ) — Two bulldog puppies have been stolen from breeders in Detroit.
The breeders said the puppies are barely five weeks old and are still too young to be separated from their mother.
They said they were meeting a prospective buyer at a McDonald's on Sunday with two of their three old English bulldog puppies.
The man had reportedly expressed interest over the phone and wanted to see them before putting down a deposit.
But after showing up late, the family said the man opened up their car door and swiped the dogs before running off with them.
The family said the man took off in a silver minivan. A report has been filed with police.
