Wayne State University is reacting after several incidents of racist graffiti were found in university bathrooms on Thursday.

In one incident, the writing "F*** y'all N****** #Trump'sAmerica" was found in the men's bathroom.

Wayne State President M. Roy Wilson said he is "deeply disappointed this has happened at Wayne State, where we embrace and respect our differences and strive to live by our values of diversity and inclusion."

According to Wilson, the Wayne State Police Department has been notified, and they are investigating, which includes reviewing footage from areas where it occurred.

"In these times of change and uncertainty, passion is understandable, but hatred and violence are not. We cannot allow these incidents and the small-minded people who perpetrated them to either intimidate us or deter us from our mission and values," Wilson added. "This is our university, and we all play a role in its progress, not only through our own success but also through the support and success of others."

This incident comes just two days after racist emails were sent to University of Michigan students, and a day after a an anti-Semitic Valentine's Day card was handed out at Central Michigan University.
