Rage Against the Machine launching tour, will play Little Caesars Arena in July

(WXYZ) — Rage Against the Machine are launching their first tour in almost a decade and it will include a stop at Little Caesars Arena.

The show is scheduled for Monday, July 13 at 8:00 p.m. It is part of a seven month long tour, the band's first since 2011.

They will be joined by rap duo Run the Jewels, in support of their new album, which will come out in the spring.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, February 13 at 11 a.m. and can be purchased at 313Presents.com, LiveNation.com, Little Caesars Arena XFINITY box office and Ticketmaster.com.

Through ticketing, volunteering and band donations, Rage Against the Machine will be working with multiple charities and activist organizations throughout the tour. In addition, 100% of all proceeds from El Paso, Las Cruces and Phoenix will go to immigrant rights.
