(WXYZ) — A Washtenaw County neighborhood is on edge after shots were fired four times over just three days, and in one case, a 19-year-old was shot.

The bullets hit multiple homes, and one neighbor said he witnessed gunfire in broad daylight. The teen is recovering.

Two of the shootings happened without hours of each other.

"They were watching the house and later on they came back by and shot it up," one neighbor told us.

"It's just ridiculous out here we have kids out here playing.I don't know what's going on?"

The rash of gun violence on the 1000 block of Foley is sending shockwaves through the community, and families feel trapped in their homes.

The rapid gunfire over three days hit multiple homes, including the window of an apartment building.

"There was glass inside on the floor. The last 72 hours, it's been like a war zone," one person said.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said the shootings stem from a simmering feud.

"What we heard is this relates to prior violence we had. So, this is an ongoing beef back and forth between two groups of individuals. One of those individuals lives on that street that was targeted," Derrick Jackson said.

Two arrests have been made so far, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, but police believe there could be more people connected to the crime.
