A Redford pharmacy is the target of a sophisticated break-in and the thieves made off with the entire stock of drugs.

It happened at the Precare Pharmacy off 7 Mile early Wednesday morning, around 3:00.

The suspects didn’t even trip any alarms because they were planning ahead.

They broke into the dance studio next door and broke through the wall, right where the pharmacy stores their drugs.

"They were in there probably 5-7 minutes then they went back through the wall, returned an hour later with additional packages in order to take what they missed the first time,” said Det. Sgt. Kevin Crittenden with the Redford Police Department.

Crittenden hopes the surveillance video will help someone recognize these suspects, even though it’s tough to see them clearly.

"I think it's possible, there's a couple of frames in the video where you can catch a glimpse of a face, we just ask the public if they think they recognize them to give us a call,” said Crittenden.

He’s said this type of break-in is rare.

"I think in 10 years that I've been in the detective bureau this has happened a handful of times,” said Crittenden.

"There were five of them, which is very unusual, we usually don't see crews working quite as sophisticated as that and they were very careful, the first trip, they took most of the narcotics,” he said.

If you do recognize them, call Redford Police at 313- 387-2500 or at Crime Stoppers 1 (800) SPEAK UP.
