Stuckey Center in Redford Township will close for a second day after a phone threat was made against the school Monday morning. 

According to Dr. Sarena Shivers, Superintendent of Redford Union Schools, Redford Township police are investigating the threat. As the investigation continues, as a precaution, the school will close on Tuesday, Nov. 13. 

"We are taking every precaution until their investigation is complete," Shivers said in a letter to parents, family and staff at Stuckey. "We remain in constant communication with the police. We will keep you informed as we are able."

On Monday, Stuckey Center was closed after a person called in a shooting threat at the school. The school was immediately placed on lockdown. 

As of Monday evening, police were still investigating the threat.
