A 14-year-old Detroit boy is in critical condition after police say his 10-year-old brother shot him in the chest as the two were playing with a shotgun Monday night.
Detroit Police say the children's father, a 36-year-old who lives in the home but was away at work, has been arrested.
The children were in their Pfent Street home with their grandparents when the shooting happened in an upstairs area of the house.
Prosecutors will decide what, if any, charges the father may face after allegedly leaving three firearms in a place that was accessible to children.
