Teen talks about losing mom in violent weekend

15-year-old Leslie Gordon was looking forward to spending Mother's Day with her mom and grandmother. But Saturday afternoon, shortly after Leslie's mom ran an errand, the 35-year-old woman was dead.

LaKisha Henry crashed her car after being shot in the chest while driving on Mansfield near Warren on Detroit's west side.

Seven people were killed Mother's Day weekend in Detroit. Fourteen shooting victims survived.

Leslie talked to 7 Action News about losing her mom and crime in the city.
