One of the victims has died, the other two are in stable condition.

The man who was killed is a 41-year-old African American man. The injured men are both African American, one is in his 50s, the other is 31-years-old. They are being treated at a local hospital.

All three victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The shooting happened at home on Ashton, near West Warren and the Southfield Freeway.

Police say the victims got out of silver BMW that was parked in the driveway when two suspects approached them and tried to rob them.

It was during the robbery that the suspects open fire. They then ran from the scene. They are described only as African American men who are 6' tall and wearing all dark clothing. They are armed.

A woman at the scene is telling 7 Action News that 10 children were inside the home at the time of the shooting. However, police are not commenting on that aspect of the case.
