An 80-year-old woman was rescued from a house fire on Detroit's west side Friday afternoon.
The house caught fire around 3:30 p.m., and the 80-year-old woman was inside.
We're told some people in the neighborhood were able to rescue her from the fire. They had to break through windows in order to rescue the woman.
Crews are still working to put out the fire at Sussex near Fenkell.
The woman said she is feeling okay after being rescued from the fire.
