A Detroit landmark is up for sale in the New Center area.
The Albert Kahn Building, located at 7430 Second Ave., was bought two years ago for just over $12 million, according to The Detroit News.
Investor interest prompted the move to list the 275,000-square-foot building, said AJ Weiner, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle, a professional services firm.
It's owned by Detroit Developer The Platform and New York City-based HFZ Capital Group.
The owner had planned to turn the building into a residential site with retail business on the first floor.
