A Detroit woman has been charged after a crash that left a man dead at the site of old Tiger Stadium last weekend.
According to police, 33-year-old Shayla Tucker was driving white Charger was driving down Michigan Ave. at nearly 100 mph when it was hit by a black Pontiac Grand Am turning from Michigan onto Trumbull.
Because of the accident, the Charger hit 35-year-old Paul Pesola from Pelkie, Mich. and propelled him over the fence and onto the old Tiger Stadium property. He was killed in the accident.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Tucker with Reckless Driving Causing Death. She is expected to be arraigned Friday morning.
