Church finally gets leaky roof fixed

It’s a story we first brought you a little over a week ago - a local church paid a lot of money to get a new roof, but the leaks never stopped and the contractors never came back to take care of it.

I was told the job would get done in 10-days and the church says not only was it done within that time, the company went above and beyond.

That news came with a hug today from Pastor Tito Bentley of Empowerment Worship Christian Center in Detroit.

Church services can now go on without and safety or water worries. This just about 10-days after we first met Pastor Bentley.

The story – he paid Premiere Property Services in Eastpointe over $22,000 to replace the roof of the church last June.

He says ceiling tiles and walls were damaged because of constant leaks and no-shows from the contractors, even though he had warranty.

I reached out to the company and was told by the owner it would be taken care of within 10-days.

Today, the finishing touches were being done.

Pastor Bentley says he would like to thank Premiere Property Services for doing what they said they would – fix the roof right away.

We too would like to thank them.
