The ACRL and the Detroit Branch of the NAACP will be hosting the Third Annual Justice Awards Tribute event on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Music Hall. It's located at 350 Madison. The ceremony will take place from 5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
This signature event features the joining of two premiere civil rights organizations to honor individuals who have dedicated their lives to equality and justice and to celebrate the goodwill and perseverance of our community.
This year's honorees are the Honorable Justice Richard Bernstein of the Michigan Supreme Court and Daniel Little, Chancellor at the University of Michigan- Dearborn, who have demonstrated commitment to diversity and justice.
WXYZ reporter Simon Shayket will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
