Detroit food truck owner to appear on upcoming episode of 'Chopped'

A Detroit-based food truck owner is set to appear on Food Network's "Chopped" for a special food truck episode. 

Hassan Musselmani, owner of The Drunken Rooster food truck, has previously appeared on Hell's Kitchen, finishing in 11th place.

Musselmani grew up on very Middle Eastern and Detroit-styled American cooking, and it is his dream to create a fresh, local menu that is inspired by these roots, according to his website.

The episode of Chopped will be released on Sept. 5.
