In the search for more evidence in the recent freeway shootings, Michigan State Police closed westbound I-94 between Conner and Van Dyke for about an hour Monday.

Investigators had already recovered some evidence the morning of December 7 when someone opened fire on four drivers that were heading west on Detroit freeways. Two of the victims were driving on I-94 and two others were west on I-96.

The first two vehicles were hit around 2:40 AM. A third vehicle was hit by gunfire at 2:54 AM. And the fourth vehicle was hit just a minute later at 2:55 AM.

The suspect vehicle is described as a silver or gray boxy-style sedan.

One of the four drivers targeted was struck by a bullet and he's now recovering.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Michigan State Police at 313-237-2450.
