The City of Detroit is putting out the help wanted sign as it prepares for the upcoming winter season.
The Department of Public Works is looking to hire dozens of salt truck drivers and equipment operators.
The department also plans to buy new trucks for its fleet.
The city says it needs a minimum of 50 snow plow and salt trucks to keep up with snow removal on the city's 674 miles of major roads.
Those who are interested in a machine operator position must have a valid Commercial Driver's License.
