Ryan Antoine Reynolds, 28, is facing charges of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and Kidnapping in two separate cases. One case is from 2014 and the other from 2012.

Reynolds was first charged in the two Detroit cases and a third case out of Redford in 2016, but the cases were dismissed early on at the request of prosecutors.

It's unclear why prosecutors sought to dismiss the charges then, but recently charges were reissued in two of the three cases.

In March 2012, Reynolds reportedly met a 22-year-old woman on MocoSpace, a social networking app. They arranged to meet at a location in Detroit, but Reynolds allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted the woman. Investigators say after the alleged attack, Reynolds robbed the woman and drove away.

In December 2014, while driving on the 8500 block of Joy Road in Detroit, Reynolds allegedly pulled a 26-year-old woman who was walking into his car. Reynolds is also accused of sexually assaulting and robbing that woman.

When 7 Action News asked a spokesperson for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office if the new filings have to do with DNA, we were told that any forensic evidence would have to be revealed during the preliminary examination.

Reynolds had been facing rape and robbery charges in a 2013 Redford case. Those charges were also dismissed in 2016 and they have not been reissued.

Bond on each of the two cases has been set at $75,000.
