Ford allegedly shot and killed 17-year-old Corey Thomas, from Grosse Pointe Woods, on June 6.
Investigators say Thomas and his 21-year-old passenger met a guy on social media and agreed to buy a pair of Jordans.
They reportedly picked Ford up on Tuesday afternoon and were going to get the shoes when an argument broke out inside the SUV.
We're told the front seat passenger and Ford, who was in the backseat, both had guns and started shooting inside the vehicle.
Thomas was shot and killed and the 21-year-old was shot in the shoulder.
Ford was arraigned on those charges Friday afternoon.
