Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged a Detroit man in connection with the hit-and-run accident that killed an 83-year-old woman.
According to Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Maria Miller, 19-year-old Deonte Renfroe is charged with second degree murder and manslaughter with a motor vehicle in the crash.
It is believed that he crashed into the back of a car at a red light and then hit a parked truck. The truck then hit and killed Charlotte Kish.
Renfroe is expected to be arraigned on Thursday afternoon in 36th District Court.
