The people have spoken. Detroit has been named one of the most facial hair friendly cities in America coming in at number eight.
The company Wahl held an event in Cadillac Square Friday offering free facial hair trims.
"For every trim we do Whal will donate one dollar to zero prostate cancer," says Justin Patricoff with the company.
The tour stops at the top 10 cities and usually has a great turn-out.
Patricoff says doctors have thanked the company for reminding people it’s important to get their prostate checked.
"A lot of guys seem to not think about getting those baseline checks and they're just really happy we're spreading the message around the country."
