The search continues for the gunman who opened fire outside several apartment buildings. It happened around 10:30 Wednesday morning on Detroit’s West Side at Ewald Circle and Holmur.
A 20-year-old man was walking in the area, when someone came after him.
Witnesses told police someone in a blue Jeep, model unknown, shot at him. The drive-by shooter never stopped. No one has been arrested. Police are searching for the suspect and Jeep used in the crime.
The man was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. He is expected to survive.
