Detroit police investigating fatal car crash on city's west side

One person was killed early Sunday morning in a crash on Detroit's west side.

It happened at Seven Mile and Woodingham Drive around 2:30 a.m. 

According to police, one Antonio Brady, 43, was traveling eastbound on Seven Mile Road when his tire blew out, causing the vehicle to lose control and his a parked mini van. Brady's car then crashed into a tree.

Brady's family says his birthday was just the day before. His nephew, Germy Tyler, says Brady had left his birthday celebration with his fiance by his side when the crash happened. 

The family says Brady's fiance is currently in the hospital with broken ribs.

Brady leaves behind two teenage daughters.
